Infants need to be fed. Adolescents feed themselves, although sometimes they are not willing to get off the couch to come to the kitchen table. Can anyone relate? Adults feed themselves and others, specifically infants and adolescents stuck on the couch! It's usually easy to identify what phase of life a person is in simply by looking at them. What about our spiritual maturity? Does it align with our physical age? Would you characterize yourself as an infant, adolescent, or an adult when it comes to matters of faith. Are you in diapers, popping pimples, or taking care of business? Has any significant change occurred in your life since you first became aware of God? Are you waiting to meet God for the first time?
