Human Trafficking Awareness Day

Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day.  Here's a sampling of the horror of human trafficking:

- There are 27 million slaves in the world today
- The sex slave industry made 32 billion dollars in 2008
- Two children are sold for sex every minute of every day.

What can we do about it?  Pray for the victims, law enforcement, and non-profits fighting trafficking.  Pray for prevention, rescue, and healing.  Pray for justice and a life-transforming change of heart for the perpetrators.  Get involved in the war against trafficking.  To do so, check out the links on the right side of the blog page.
